Carola continues the story “A tremendous amount of the work that we do for our clients is actually done after they have bought their property. They come in to see us with all manner of letters and documents in Spanish that they don´t understand, so we translate for them and help to deal with all manner of issues related to living out here”

Peter adds “In fact between us and the fabulous staff that we have we speak around eight different languages I think, so we can pretty much help out most people one way or another. We have always found that by focussing on helping people and sorting out the problems for our clients, even if they don´t relate directly to their property purchase, our business Works really well. In fact you could say the more we help people the better our business Works”

He continues ”In my opinion there is much more to a running a successful business than merely making money. Yes obviously we need to make a profit but that´s just a part of it. Even though we live on a beautiful tropical island, we still need to wake up every morning and want to go to work and also we want and need our staff to be happy, which I guess they must be as they have all been with us for years as well”
When visiting their offices it is clear that they have found an excellent balance of professionalism and a straightforward, relaxed and friendly approach. You can sit either in the office or out front on the terrace and simply chat or look through portfolios of property.

When you find something you like the look of you can either ask to view and be shown around the area and the property by either Peter or one of the staff or if you don´t feel ready to view, you can simply take away a copy of the property details with you; either way you will never feel under pressure.

As Peter explains “We treat people as we would like to be treated ourselves if we were in their positions; we can´t do it any other way, it´s just the way we are. And it´s really gratifying that many clients from the past have become friends over the years; some people simply stop by for a coffee and a chat when they are passing and others have bought and sold through us many times over the years”

Even though they are based in the centre of the South of Tenerife, demand over the years has meant that the geographical area that they cover has increased greatly. Peter continues “We obviously have a tremendous amount of both new build and resale properties for sale around our office locations but having been out here so long now we know a lot of people, so have been asked to both find and market property in many other areas of the island, so whatever clients are looking for, there´s a very good chance we can find the right thing for them”

Again due to both the approach taken by Peter and his team as well as the amount of years they have been helping people, they have built up an excellent network of reliable service providers, which are needed when somebody is buying a home.
